The House of Representatives has just passed a rescission bill at the White House’s request, which would strip away $1.1 billion in already approved federal funding for public media. This puts everything that GBH and public media stand for at risk.

The thought of losing public media – an important part of maintaining our democracy and a source of free, safe, educational programming to all families, regardless of income – is hard to reckon with. But our work continues, and I hope you’ll join us in this fight.
